First off I would like to tell you CONGRATS you are still a virgin. You should make sure you stay that way until you are REALLY ready to be with the person you chose. You see there is no sure way to tell if you are completely ready to be with someone, BUT you need to feel like that is the person you would want to spend the rest of your life with, and be PICKY! The reason I tell you to be picky, is because the man I lost my most precious gift to was a very nice boy, UNTIL we had sex. THEN, he disappeared. Please know, that boys will sometimes tell you ANYTHING to get you to have sex with them. DO NOT fall for any of it.

When you are positive in your own heart and head, use protection, as there are a whole lot of very scary diseases out there and as always pregnancy is a BIG factor that can change the rest of your life,(I have a friend who had a baby at 14, and well, she had no more childhood and was FORCED to grow up...). AIDS is deadly and I am not sure that you understand that there are other diseases out there that are UNCURABLE, (like herpes and warts,) so please, respect yourself enough to make sure condoms are available BEFORE considering the act of sex. REMEMBER that your virginity is a special thing and you can only share that gift with one person, make sure he is the one! I hope this helps you and good luck!

The definition of virginity is variable. You are what you feel. And when you think of it, there are now the "new virgins" who have had hymenoplasty. And Bill Clinton proved that oral sex isn't sex and set off a wave of that among pubescent schoolkids.

But you knew that already. So long as you are not of one of those cultures where purdah or burkas are thought good things, you're OK.

And in much of the modern Judeo-Christian world, pressure to remain a virgin is thought to be a discriminatory violation of feminist rights. Something over 2/3 of urban girls interviewed in one survey thought of their hymens in some way as an obstacle to free social interaction.

If you come from a Muslim or a strict Christian background your mileage will vary.

I think you are. Even if your hymen is broke. Did you know that some girls aren't born with hymens and some girls hymens never break. . .So what if you go with the fact "if you hymens intact then your a virgin" then some girls are born non virgins and some girls stay virgins even after intercourse several times. You not a virgin if you've had sex.

Besides ask yourself if you consider yourself a virgin (which by your question I'm assuming the answer is yes). If you answer yes then yes you are a virgin. . .until you have sex of course.

I dont think so . ARE you sure it was a finger only though. Loosing your virginity means breaking the hymen that is inside your womanhood. Most of the women bleed as well when the act is done.

Dont yah worry about gurl. You still are.
That is if you are worried of loosing the virginity when you are not yet ready .
