Personally it doesn't appeal to me at all. I think you should keep it natural for as long as you can, but what are your opinions?

I think it's important to remember that you were made in a specific way that makes you unique from everyone else and wearing makeup is changing the way you look.

If a girl is really pretty she doesnt need make up. Make up is a big turn off. Natural is much more attractive. Although i must admit i dont really find moustaches very attractive on girls ....:P

While I personally agree with your point of view, at the age of 13-15, it's all about learning about oneself. It's finding out who you are, and what you like (and don't like), experimenting with different things (some good, others not so good). Teenagers want to be accepted as well as be an individual, and often makeup can help girls in this regard. If I was a parent of a 13-15 year old girl, I would probably say that she is beautiful the way she is, that she should feel confident in who she is; and that it is her choice whether she wants to wear makeup, and that I hope she's wearing it for the right reasons.

I think girl's (Ages 13-15) who do wear makeup are whores but girls who don't are sluts so I'm not the kinda person to be asking a question like "Should girls ages 13-15 be wearing makeup?

I am 14. I wear makeup sometimes. Just not so much in the summer since it's been about 106 degrees everyday. But, I think I wear makeup better than most people my age. Most of these girls slap on a huge line of brightly colored eyeliner and some sparkly lip gloss. And it really looks horrible. They really need to learn how to blend.

I think they should start when they're 13 or 14-- after all, that's when puberty starts, and their faces will break out and stuff. Foundation can do miracles! But I agree-- at least keep it natural-looking. The secret of makeup is to make it look like you're not wearing any!

natural is good. but a little lip gloss would be OK. But wearing makeup and lipstick fades the natural color of the skin and lips. It can ruin the natural glow. When you start that young, think of what the face will be like in 30 or 40 years!

No. It makes them look cheap and you know the cosmetic corporations are behind the selling point that it makes them feel "older" and sophisticated. Our society forces girls to grow up too fast -- I once saw a young teen beauty pageant and was disturbed by how obviously painted the contestants were. I think if any young woman needs to apply make-up, wait until 16 at the earliest. I myself have always like the natural look.

I think girls 13-15 should be allowed to wear make-up, but I also believe it should be monitored because teenage girls can sometimes go overboard on the make-up with out realizing it. Personally, my parents made me wait untill high school and then I was only allowed to wear mascara and foundation. At first, I was mad because everyone around me was wearing a ton, but now I am glad because I realize I didn't look like a total idiot with a ton of make-up on. Overall, they should be allowed to wear it, but parents should monitor their girls and also help them with colors and matching.

Yes, but just a little. I think this is the age when they first begin to experiment with make-up. This is part of the transition into a young lady. The best idea is to give them a little make-up lesson so they know what works and how to apply. But, make sure to tell the estitician to take it easy and keep it natural.

I was allowed to wear makeup at that age, and I think most girls should be allowed to, as long as the makeup is monitored. My mom didn't let me have any outrageous colors. I was allowed to have mascara, translucent powder, lipgloss and some neutral eyeshadows. I think a 13 year old with bright red lipstick and blue eyeshadow looks tacky....(well it looks tacky on anyone but esp. younger people)

I don't think that a little makeup is bad. Sometimes girls at that age are under alot of pressure to fit in and look good, so a little bit here or there just to make them feel better about themselves, to me, is ok. I think that hoochie Momma makeup (AND DRESS!!!!) has no business on a girl younger than 18!!!!!
