I don't believe so, sort of like humans developing from monkeys....if we did, why isn't there half human, half monkeys now????
However GHOSTS is a different subject

Every continent has their own version of a man-like creature that goes back centuries. I find it extremely unlikely that a creature such as that truly exists in this day and age. I agree with you, with the technology we have today, you'd certainly think we'd have found a live or a dead one by now. On the other hand, we're hearing all the time science discovering new and never seen critters on this old earth. The difference is none of these new species are eight feet tall and look like apes.
The same could be said for the Loch Ness monster and all the other water creatures that people report seeing all over the world. Why can't we seem to capture one? Why are photos always grainy and difficult to prove their authenticity?
It's fun to think of cool mysteries on our planet. I guess right now, the biggest mystery is how can we all get along, so we can go back to hunting bigfoots and Nessy.
Fun question! Best one I've seen come down the line in days!

The origin of the Bigfoot is the Big Ankle.
Seriously. like the Yeti or Abominable Snowman, the evidence is sketchy and not very convincing. As you mention, with modern technology, it's hard to accept that by now no one has gotten a clear picture or a tissue or hair sample as proof. Probably it's just a bear.

Yes. About 6.3 million years ago an ape named Gigantopithecus lived in Southeast Asia for five and half million years. It is related to the Orangutan and was about 10 - 12 feet tall.
It is possible there is a small tribe living somewhere in the deep forest, there are lots of areas where man has yet travelled.
The Mountain Gorilla wasn't discovered until 1902, maybe we just haven't found Gigantopithecus yet.

I saw something late one night years ago here in Alaska (yes, I was sober) that I cannot explain. I don't know what it was even though I was very close to it. So I can't really say that something like bigfoot doesn't exist. But I can't say it does either. Is it possible? Yes. Do things exist that we have never seen? Yes. New species of plants, animals, and sealife are discovered regularly. I've never seen God but I know He exists. We have to be open to possibilities I think!

Some crazy people think it's Cain (from the Bible, whom slew his brother Able)
Yep, he was cursed w/ a certain mark, and cursed to walk this earth forever.... Til some jerk shoots him and puts his head over their fireplace I suppose!
