A rose - feel like a fragile bud most of the time, but my husband has a way of bringing out the leaves and then petal by petal releasing my fragrances of Christ, love, family devotion, natural beauty through compassion, writing, and then when a thorn is reached knows how to gingerly use a gardeners snipper and take the point off without scarring, allowing me to continue to be the fragrance that brings him life's enjoyment.
