I was watching the news some time ago and saw black people alongside the minutemen joining forces to stop immigration. Why is that????? Weren't they opressed more than hispanics to be acting like they're on top of the society ladder?? That makes me mad,the ones that are joining the minutemen movement. Any reasonable answers?

That is it they are trying to impress the white man. They have forgotten what color they are and what there ancestors went through, the slavery ships, the selling of slaves, the back breaking work in the fields, and the ugly words that were given to blacks by whites. Some people just need a reality check.

Illegal immigration is a huge problem right now and the people that want them in the country are really only taking advantage of the fact that they can be payed less than minimum wage. The immigrants really are in a lose/lose situation because Mexico is so corrupted nowadays.
If some black people do not want them to cross borders then they can do so. They have their own reasons. After all, it is a free country and they can support whatever cause they want.
However, I do have a problem with your question. I'm not saying that you have to be politically incorrect or anything like that, but by asking "Weren't they oppressed more than Hispanics to be acting like they're on top of the social ladder" you imply that black people should not have a voice in the issue because our ancestors were slaves.

It's not ALL immigrants!! It's the ILLEGAL ones who say "We want American rights!" and yet wave a foreign flag! If you wave the American flag, people might actually think they like the country and aren't just using it to get the benefits it gives. Nobody has anything against the immigrants who go through the process legally and fairly and wait the time it takes to get the green card. It's the ones who are doing it illegally because like it or not, illegal is illegal. And it's not just blacks alright? Stop generalizing.

Anybody who is a legal citizen of this country (be it by natural birth or whatever) and who has a desire to help put a stop to ILLEGAL immigration has the right to join the Minutemen irregardless of their color.

Quite frankly, I don't understand myself. We were once oppressed ourselves. We are still un wanted in America. We are still talked about and looked down upon in society. It actually angers me when I see my race reacting negatively to immigrants. We know what it's like to be discriminated against.

Other minorities who feel threatened by the idea they will be displaced or replaced would join. Others who feel the laws are fair would join. Simple logic.
