hi i've been noticing my gf has white chunky stuff around her vagina, everyday. 3 days straight now. (that i noticed)im concerned if this is a yeast infection or discharge. there is no yellow color to it , just white chunky stuff, and it dont seem to have a smell.she had her period 7 days ago. she doesnt itch at all. if it was a discharge would it happen like this every day 4 days in a row?..

discharge is a natural thing for girls and it doesn't go away, it shouldn't be a lot though. your gf sounds like she has a yeast infection and it won't go away on it's own. monostat is a good product, but if this is her first infection she needs to see a doctor first to make sure nothing else is wrong

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Women always have discharge when they don't have their period, it's a natural lubrication. "Chunky white stuff" doesn't sound normal though, and it could still be an infection of some kind. Tell her to go to the doctor, they can test for STD's and yeast levels to see what's wrong. If it is a yeast infection, it's easily treatable and not anything to worry about.

it is not a yeast infection it is a side effect from starting the pill. it will continue till her body gets use to the hormones that the pill sends out. plus a grl's body chemical changes every seven yrs so this could also be a change in her system.

tell her to go to walmart and buy a box of Monistat....it will treat it. The directions are in the box. Ive never heard of anyone having a yeast infection that didnt itch. If you have sex with her, you can actually get irritation as well.
