wes craven did both versions. I thought the first version was much more scarier than the re-make. Although, I don't like either movie.

I didn't know that "The Hills Have Eyes". I just watched I guess the newer one just last night and thought it was good.

i know it was done by either wes craven or clive barker can't remember which but at the time it was ok. but the new ones is slightly better just b/c all the new tech since the first.

haven't seen the older version but it cant be much worse than the new version

never seen the old one but i think the new one is great...VERY BRUTAL...i liked all of it except the cliff hanger ending
