OK.. as you all know i have posted ? on here before and some have helped and some havent. but i just dont understand why my friends dont want me to play sports or anything since iwon miss teen usa ..I am still me but i have a job of not only be crowned miss teen in the usa but, i have to inspire other girls .. dont you think i should stay in volleyball dance cheerleading softball basketball soccer and tennis? I love skateboarding too but my friends are all treating me like i am fraguile or something ..i dont know what to do..help please thanks.. should i tell them to back off or go with the flow?

Look, you're the one in charge of your life and you should do what feels right. If you love doing those things, go for it!! I think it would be more inspiring to other teens that you are miss teen usa and you haven't stopped participating in all those sports and activities. It might inspire other teens to put down the video game, leave the bowl of potato chips and get off the couch and get out and be active!!
The only thing you need to be concerned about is how to balance your schedule with all of your new duties and resposibilities as Miss Teen USA.

Unless you have some type of contract with Miss Teen U.S.A. then do what you want to do. My daughter hasn't a crown other than what I gave her, she plays volleyball, softball, and basketball. She is a part of a team and anything she does she gives inspiration to others, she encourages a down teamate and never stands alone. Maybe you have alienated yourself because of your crown, have you changed? Have you became better than others to where they don't enjoy your company any longer but they really don't want to say it like it is as not to hurt your feelings. Remember who you are, and what a friend really is.

Just tell them that you haven't changed and you're still the same old person and let them know that no matter how popular you get you'll always be their friend. They're probably thinking, "oh great now she's goin to turn into a brat" or something, just let them know that you're the same person.

you mean your miss teen USA and you cant even spell the word fragile??????? I dont believe you for a minute....and if its true, then that's a true shame. Aren't those pageants based on your academic performance??? lol...seriously???
One more thing.....what year were you crowned, because this years pageant is on aug 15th.......!!!!!!!!!! The winners name last year was not Mackenzie....which you said was your name in another post with your poem.

i think u should have a talk with your friends and tell them. that you love these sports and trying to stop you from doing something you love is not what friends should do. tell them that if they won't let you play the sports with them than you will find a team to let you play with them. and, good luck with the miss teen title.

Why don't you just tell your friends how you are feeling? Let them know that you are still the same person you were before you won the pageant.

omg tell your friends to lay off, this is your life, you make YOUR descisions.. not you friends.. your not fragile like glass just cause you won something life-changing, look at Kelly Clarkson.. her fans acted like everything had to be perfect for her.. tell your friends you like sports, and thats part of the reason your fit.. and if they don't listen.. then I guess they aren't friends are they?
