I'm spending my days at the beach surfing in the cool Pacific Ocean, and I'm spending the evenings sitting outside drinking lots of cold beer...and then sleeping naked with all the fans going and all the windows open! It was 104 in my city today, which is a bit unusual for Southern California but not TOTALLY freaky or odd. What's really weird is not the heat but the fact that we are having very high humidity and lightning storms...now that's REALLY rare for Southern California. I've lived here my whole life and never seen anything like the weird weather this summer.
Do I think it has something to do with global warming? Probably. I mean global warming/climate change IS happening...anyone who still refuses to accept that fact at this point is simply in denial. However I don't know if what we are feeling this summer is a direct result of this climate change.

It's been over 105 F every day for the past week here in Dallas. But, thank God, a cold front came through yesterday and the high was ONLY 98 F, and today is predicted to be a nice cool 96 F. Coping involves my $$$ new A/C compressor and lots of iced tea...y'all.
Sure, it's related to global warming, but it's only a tiny "blip" in the overall trends. NOAA says that the drought conditions in the U.S. are expected to persist for the next 15-20 years, so I don't believe there's much hope a reprieve any time soon.

Thank God for air conditioning. Yes, it is global warming, which is also to blame for all of these odd natural disasters everywhere. No one seems to care about preserving the earth until its ruined.

Do I think it has *Something* to do with global warming? Yes. Do I think global warming is something man is creating? Not sure. Will it continue to get worse? You betcha.

I stay indoors with the air conditioner on. I go out at night, after the sun goes down. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and it was 118 yesterday, so I should know!
