The politicians did not cause the demise of the big three. The big three keep begging for the money but, do stupid thing like flying leer jets to congressional meetings instead of taking commercial flights. They are really showing the public how they are going to curb their spending habits, not. For years, the rest of the world has been gearing their companies to produce high efficiency automobiles while our dinosaurs have been continuing to produce army tanks. There will be industry to fill the void. The people who lose their jobs will get new ones. Maybe we need to get the unions out of the picture and get the autoworkers into some of the new factories that they are building in the South. We do not need to keep throwing or money into a hole. We have no business paying the unions insurance ans retirement.
