Its a website where you fill out different offers and get paid very little. I tried it and filled out many offers but didn't get paid the 75 cents an offer or so on because it couldn't be verified that i completed and offer but at the same time I get email spam from the different companies where my completion could't be verified. I also had a problem with my paypal account after registering it with cashrate. I never got a penny for any of the offers, just spam

They probably all figure that everyone will be so bored without myspace being up that they'll take the time to look at the "offers."
I think the cashcrate one is related to one of those offer things I saw a few months back where they only "give you money" (in quotes because it's more of a supposedly thing than anything, generally) if you can get people to go to your website they assign to you (see the ref=4...(whatever number here at the end; that particular user's assigned number)). They just hope on more and more people clicking on their ads and stuff with the vague promise of "money for clicking on ads." But they seldom actually give anyone anything, so it's probably more of a waste of a time than anything else.
(ps: no, I didn't go to it; yes, it might be virus infected, but is more likely just a total waste of time since I'd just have to post those annoying ads for it to actually have it pay off (maybe but probably not), and I don't plan to do so anytime soon.)
