Another simple one. Talk to him about it. Tell him you feel uncomfortable when he pays for everything. Tell him. Other options include buying concert tickets; film tickets; theatre tickets or even dinner reservations in advance. Surprise him!

Sounds like you have a true gentleman, and you are being a great girlfriend not to take him for granted.
If I were you I would think of something nice to do for your boyfriend.
Example -buy him a treat that he really likes, purchase tickets to a concert, cook his favorite meal or do his laundry.
Or the next time you two go out if he insists on paying for the movie. Then ask what type of refreshments he would like or if you are at dinner, place enough money for the tip on the table.
I think if you find creative ways to let him know you appreciate him, he'll get the message and he'll start looking forward to you doing nice things for him too.
Hope this works... I know all the other ladies out there wish they had this problem.

With all due respect, if that's your worst problem, count your blessings.
How about this simple rule: the one who invites the other out on the date is the one who pays.
