I mean, we're just friends. We arent in a relationship or anything. We used to like eachother, but then we decided that it probably wasnt gonna work out. Now he constantly tells me that I'm the most beautiful girl that he's ever seen and that I'm amazing and that he'll never find a girl like me. And then he finishes it all off with: "I love you so much."
Is he just sensitive or does it mean something else?

He's telling you he feels something for you. He's going out on a limb to let you know what you mean to him. What you need to find out is HOW exactly he means it. Just be sure if you say it back that he understands also how YOU mean it.

Good luck, and stay friends whatever happens.

Well, the only way your ever gonna know the answer to that question is to ask him. Saying I love you to a friend is not unheard of...but the other comments make me think there may be more here...

Sure, why not, I love you too.

Why can't you say "I love you" or "I like you" without being thought as expressing romantic feeling or categorize as homosexual. I think it is perfectly fine.

There are many type of love, and "I love you" is just I love you.

If you say it between friends is called companion love or platonic love.

if you're saying i love you in a friendship way maybe you just need to make sure he is too... if you love each other there's nothing wrong with saying it... just make sure you both mean it in the same way
