If three girls move to a 10 acre plot of land, and only one third of that land has fruit-bearing trees, then if the second girl becomes attracted to the third will the first still want to borrow the third's divining rod to search for water in order to irrigate girl 2's fruit trees?
or is she just letting herself be used?

So I take it the 2nd girl owns the 1/3 with the fruit trees. She likes the third girl so will probably let her share the fruit. I think the first girl would still want to irrigate girl 2's trees with girl 3's rod. That way they will all like each other and remain friends. These wouldn't happen to be cherry trees by any chance?
