how bad is the pain when you get the top of your ear pierced? like is it worse that when you get your earlobe pierced, some of my friends say that i really hurts but none of then have done it so ppppplz tell me!!

No it doesn't hurt any worse or any less. However, it takes a very long time to heal since it's right in the cartilage. Make sure you take really good care of it by cleaning it every day!

Having the cartiliage pierced doesn't feel much different than having your lobe pierced. The lobe has a slight pressure, then a pinch and its over... the cartiliage is all pinch, and it's over. The only real difference is, while a lobal piercing will heal in 6 weeks, a cartiliage piercing will heal in three months, since there's less blood flow to it.

LOL I just got mine pierced and no it does not hurt. Just whatever you do...don't flinch. When I jumped it bent my barbell and it was weird looking...i've had mine done for about a week and they are healing great. And I had mine done in my best friends bathroom with the little gun you but from wal mart^.^

it hurts pretty bad but just for a min or two. you go on about your day then that night you go to sleep and it hurts again. seriously mine hurt for months
still does on occasion and i had mine pierced 12 years ago

Obviously everyone has different pain tolerences. Try it if you don't like it take it out. It will heal.
