In the world of infertility there is what we call "The Hamster Test" This is a test of the ability of a man's sperm to penetrate a hamster egg stripped of its outer membrane, the zona pellucida, Also called Hamster Zona-Free Ovum (HZFO) Test or Sperm Penetration Assay (SPA)

However, a human sperm will not fertilize a female rat ova. They are not of the same species nor are they compatiable.

Did that help?

You can if u set the no. of chromosomes as low as possible. and u will get the resultant species with a rat head and hand and a man body and leg.

You could put them together, hopefully in vitro, but they are too genetically distant to crossbreed, despite the existence of politicians.
