For sure, I thought that this was in "Jokes and Riddles."
Alien, as in extra-terrestrial? I doubt it. I see no 2001 (Space Odyssey) Monolith. The concept of IQ or human intelligence is based upon the scientific objective portion of the universe. It tends to ignore the subjective portion, which may well be more important.

Who has more intelligence, the person who can give you the definition of 100 words or the person who can give you 100 meaning for the same word? Which of these can be influenced by an outside party?
Humans cannot give a proper relationship of the mind and the brain. I doubt that any source other than Divinity can do any better.

My mom told me about a fiction book she read about how we are the result of aliens having sex with apes. I forgot the name of the book though. sry
