At what age did most of yours develop? I am otherwise moderately hairy everywhere else. I can see a few very short terminal hairs developing right on my chest bone and around my shoulders, and I also have quite a few around my nipples. Tell me your general age of getting most of your chest hair and if you have alot now.

It is not abnormal for you to have minimal chest hair. Even if it doesn't develop more, worry not, as on the Today show yesterday they were talking about womens' preferences, and it was almost 50/50 for liking chest hair vs. no chest hair on their man. Mine grew in a few years prior to yours, but my father and brothers are also moderately hairy. It all has to do with your family genetics. It means no more nor less of you as a man either way.

Hair is almost a random thing. Of course, you may find that some people like the lack of it, whereas some people prefer the hair, and some people don't really care about chest hair.
Don't worry about it too much. Whether or not you have chest hair, there's always someone for you.
(All of my developments were done at fifteen, but I'm a woman.)

oh my god you don't have chest hair

gasp!!! the horror, this is the end of the world.......................................................

lets get serious now, some guys are just born without or with just very little chest hair. look at the guys at your family do they have chest hair? its all genetics.
i mean, i don't have chest hair and i shave like once every 3 months because i have a very very slow facial hairgrowth but my side burns grow faster and longer than all of my family or friends, if i let it grow long enough, i could look like the asian versian of wolverine.......
there is no such thing as general age to have chest hair, if your family is incredibliy hairy, you'll get chest hair when you hit puberty, but if your family is not neccesarily hairy you will either have no chest hair, grows when you hit 20s or just a peach fuzz on your chest.
i think your are better off worrying how to get abs and pecs that worrying about chest hair

FACT
most women like their man smooth on the chest........

It has to do with genetics so don't worry about it. I'm guessing you are fair haired and fair skinned.

I'm blonde by birth, grey by age, but I didn't really get much hair on my torso until I was in my 30s so don't worry yourself about it.

Oh by the way, I hate to use commercials on tv as a rule of thumb but how many hairy guys do you see in them? Aren't tv commercials supposed to be what the market prefers? If that's the case then I would say the market prefers hairless.

Good luck.

Some guys just never have a lot of chest hair. I personally don't like a lot of chest hair.

You will probably get more chest hair as you age. Some say it migrates from your head to your chest, ears and nose. I would not worry about it.

yep, normal...the age really depends from person to person, but many times it may be well into your 20's before you notice a lot of change...and even then, some guys have more body hair than others. I wouldn't get yourself worried over it.

Quite normal! I have 2 sons and neither one of them have chest hair. Don't worry, lots of women like it that way, and when you go to the beach.... nice and smooth...goes great with a tan.
