I hope first and foremost you are safe and these words so deep and private are just words from the depth of a soul that has been hurt.
I am a high school teacher and the one thing I know I teach the kids, is this, it will always pass. no matter how bad it gets, or is, it will always pass. Sometimes we get more bad, but sometimes good will come next.
Remember this, love is an emotion that can only be true if there a two way connection. When we feel pain from relationships we tear at our own hearts to find reasons, answers and solutions that can only be accomplished through time, not emotions.
Your poem is deep, meaningful and sends many messages that those who hurt our hearts affect us physically as well. A poem telling someone that the pain inflicted, or the situation at hand challenges your very existence allows for some release of that pain, but you give that person further control of the situation.
Goodbye, my dear true love. I know those words well, despite all. They say love and hate are one in the same. I believe they are.
Welcome to being human.
Be well and love can not be killed only put away for someone else another day.

let me say, that poem brought a tear or two to my eyes.
