What do you think of tattoos?

I don't like them at all...with men it's bad enough; I think tattoos are also very unfeminine. Just my opinion, but to me tattoos scream "trailer trash." Just my OPINION, mind you!

What are your opinions?

I agree. Getting a tattoo shows the person has an inability to think about the consequences of their actions in the distant future. It also shows a lack of respect for their bodies. I have found that people with butt-ugly large tattoos(larger than an American quarter-dollar) usually are disrespectful towards others and simply can not adequately make plans for the future.

I think they are a form of "self mutilation". They do not do anything toward improving the way someone looks, not even when covering up a scar. I worry a lot about tattoos, especially when i am on the beach and watching all the young girls go by who have maimed themselves for life, i don't think people think about the consequences enough when they get a tattoo, it will be there for ever!

I have a tattoo on my foot. it is 3 stars w/ stardust.....very cute and quite small. also, able to be hidden very well at work. I think having too many of them looks bad, but I like tattoos, and they are becoming more and more popular so people should just get used to them because they will be around forever.

I think that labeling all ppl who have tattoo's as "trailer trash" is completely unfair. I mean, it's up to the person if they want to get a tattoo, it's a way of representing something that is dear to u, like a memory, or a loved one's name, or just a way of expressing one's self. I personally want to get one. Like u said, it's just my opinion.

If you appreciate art then you'd appreciate tattoos. Tattoo is an art. It's nice to look at as long as it's done professionally. The tattoos they have have meanings and reflect on who they are - it's more like an identity to others.

it depends on what the tattoo is and how well it was done but i love them, i think some of them are beautiful. its body art and a lot of them have a meaning to them. a lot of them do look trashy but a lot of them don't as well.

its your OPINION but im going to have to strongly disagree with you because i have seen a lot of different tattoos on all kinds of people and i have even looked up tattoo art work on the Internet, i can't wait to get my own, im still trying to figure out what i want my first one to be, its going to be there forever so it has to be perfect =)

I think very well done tatoos are hot. I do not care for them on the legs or ankles, but they look good on the arms chest and back. As a woman, I wouldn't mind getting a very pretty one in the small of my back. I hate cheap tatoos...they must be done professionally to look good.

some of them do look awful. I do like them but not when people go OTT or have them for no particular reason.

I have 2 tattoos, both of them with personal meaning to me and not really that people will be able to see much.

well there is nothing wrong with tat's if you dont like them thats just your oppion on it but alot of people think they are attrative and not all people that have tat's are trailer trash well if that was true just think there would be alot of music artist that would be trailer trash..there would be alot of people that would be trailer trash..
