Using a chemical weed killer on new grass is not recommended until the grass is well established. And, if you value the health of your family, weed killers are not recommended period. Most weeds need sunlight to germinate and grow. Therefore, if you keep the lawn cut at 3 inches and let it grow to 4 inches, the grass will prevent sunlight from reaching the weed seeds. You will be growing very deep roots with this cutting procedure and the lawn will be resistant to disease and insect infestation for years to come.
Pulling a few weeds will be easy since only the big ones will get through.

you want to study the bottle...i comprehend that round-up makes a weed/grass killer that has residual outcomes, yet i do not comprehend too a lot about it, like how lengthy it lasts etc. A twelve months later sounds like a lengthy time period, and it type of feels marvelous that the older flora survived the spraying purely to die actual right here twelve months. That makes me imagine it truly is a few thing else, like an insect or ailment difficulty, or water/foodstuff difficulty. None of which i can assist with without seeing them, sorry.

You do have to do it by hand. Get a spray bottle & use Turpentine in it. Spray each weed ,it has to go down to its roots. it works so fast you can almost see them die in front of you.make sure the spray is on stream. DON'T get it on anything you don't want to kill,'cause it will!
