I once stole a surround sound speaker system and a portable DVD player. And another time a very expensive cigar (both from work its more like embezzling than shoplifting).

I hate to admit it, but my friend and I were BIG TIME shop lifters when we were in Junior High. (I was in JUNIOR HIGH, not Middle School--so you know this has been a while!!!) One time we went to a city nearby with my folks and went from store to store swipping stuff. What was really crazy is we went up to the clerk at one of the stores and said our sack had a hole in it and they gave us a new one. Then we'd take that sack and fill it up. When we needed a new sack we'd get one and fill it up. By the time we were done we had 6 sacks FULL of stolen merchandise.
When my folks asked how we got all that stuff we told them it was clearance items and we got good deals! My friend and I
figured we had ripped off a total of $3,350 that day from various stores. That was by far the biggest spree we went on. Needless to say, our crime spree came to an end one day when my friend was spotted by one of our teachers lifting some things from a store. It was certainly a learning experience.

when i was in high school, i stole a bunch of makeup and crap from wal mart
i would walk out with a huge bag of stuff, worth a few hundred
but i don't steal anymore

Yeah. A newspaper. I thought it was free because it was with the other free newspapers. It cost a $1.75. I don't think I even read it..
