I don't know... why did you?

Just kidding.

It's an affirmation of our own personal belief system, or an underlying desire to possibly alter our beliefs if we may subconsciously find them to be less than perfect. If we are reasonably intelligent, we are never quite satisfied with our own rigid value system and we constantly desire to better ourselves to avoid stagnation, and, by proxy, to hopefully help someone else along the way.

On a venue like Yahoo, I find it interesting to compare our domestic mores against the mores of the rest of the world. I always strive for more knowledge and input, which is why most of us find so much life here in this vast ethereal wilderness that passes for life these days.

Or we may just want to attract mindless trolls when we're really, really bored.

Some people ask questions they know the answers for sometimes to check their answers to other peoples or the logic for others answers wrong ot not.

we ask questions to which we already know answers, because we want to observe what other people think and perhaps even learn something new about the subject that we might not have noticed before.

Sometimes it is to be obnoxious.

If this is not the case, and one is sincere in reasking the question, maybe the answer previously given just does not quite seem to fit. So, the question is reasked.

I'm using reasking as a word----I suspect that it is not a word.

To validate ourselves. But, once in a while we're thrown for a loop and actually learn something!
