Why do ppl think emo is a lable of fashion, I thought it was only a music genre. Also is it really true that all emo guys are gay or bi?

I think Emo is another subculture, like goth or prep or athletic-type. You can't really define it by fashion or music, although it does include both. I'm not sure if emo guys have a prequsite bisexuality but it doesn't seem likely. Still, maybe the issue is one of those controversies without an agreed-upon answer.

the emo guy friends that I have are open sexually. Those who know nothing about music think that emo has something to do with fashion. Idiots. It is a music genre.

Emo is both...and no I have a firend who is "emo" and he is straight. Its a fashion...u know like goth or preppy. Id be like saying all preppy people are stupid or all goths drink blood...its justa stereotype.
