If you really love him, then you shouldn't need advice on where to find poems that tells him everything will be okay. My advice to you is that if you love him and you are really willing to stand by his side no matter what, then keep to your word and do it. Most of all, follow your heart. Even though he is in jail, if you truly do love him then be there for him. Send him letters, visit him, send pictures....all those little things will show him. I can only imagine how hard it is in there for him. Keep these things in mind and you will be fine. As far as a poem goes.....pick one that comes from your heart.

My dearest Bank Robbing John:
How will I carry on.
You steal for fun
You will shoot a gun
At anyone

now you are in jail
I can't post the bail.

Deares John
I can't go on
unless I know
while you are gone

no no no

Let me try again

Dearest Fred

I am glad
you are not dead

Sorry for the teller you shot in the head.

No no no

Ok here it is.
You wil be gone for a while

But you can still smile

I will act with some class
and only take it in the *ss.

Ok here it is for real:

Here are two poems that I think might be good. First,

"I'll Stand by You" -- Chrisy Hinds and The Pretenders

Oh, Why You Look So Sad?
Tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now
Don't be ashamed to cry
Let me see you through
'cause I've seen the dark side too
When the night falls on you
You don't know what to do
Nothing you confess
Could make me love you less

I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you

So if you're mad, get mad
Don't hold it all inside
Come on and talk to me now
Hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry too
Well I'm a lot like you
When you're standing at the crossroads
And don't know which path to choose
Let me come along
'cause even if you're wrong

I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you

And when...
When the night falls on you, baby
You're feeling all alone
You won't be on your own

I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you

I'll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you

Second... "Crying to the Sky" by Be Bop Deluxe

Crying to the sky... Searching for a silver lining
Hoping that the clouds I'm climbing aren't hiding rain
Nowhere left to go...
For every show now disappoints me...
Still the ghost of love-lost haunts me till my dying day
I coudl fly away...
Over this river of tears...
But I think I'll stay...
To face all my troubles and fight like a man
I won't fear... Love is near...
Crying to the sky...
Weeping like a silver fountain...
Praying on the holy mountain it won't rain...

I could say good bye...
Follow the sun and moon,
But that would be a lie...
My heart's in your hand
And I'm leading a band full of blues... Just for you...

Crying to the sky...
Searching for a silver lining
Hoping that the clouds I'm climbing aren't hiding rain

Yes my dear. and lm sure you have heard this song, but never knew what it meant..Write down the words to the song, UNCHAINED MELODY, by the rightous brothers. it was wriiten in jail by a man who was in jail thinking of his loved one. if you listen to the words you will understand its meaning. it was the theme song for the movie ghost.

I do apologies but a good poem doesn't come close to a good lawyer in this situation.
