Yes, I have read the newspaper practically everyday, except when I go on vacation, since I was 12 (I was a paper boy). I have told myself a million times to stop reading the paper and watching the news. It feeds depression, like Taco Bell feeds hunger. Then I have to run for the border, i.e. go on vacation or to the bathroom, respectively. When my kids come in the room and I'm watching CNN or something, I have to switch channels. My son has told me that the news gives him nightmares. Ironically, They can go to PG13 scary movies and laugh it off. I wish I could just stop caring and ignore the stupid media. I'd be a lot better off.
