LOL is an abbreviation for "laugh out loud". It was actually a jargon in messengers, and I think it should not be added in the dictionary. However, "LOL" can be added in "computer language dictionary", if this type of dictionary exists.

I hate how people use "words" like that.
I have this feeling that they will get so used to it that it will become instinctive. Pretty soon they'll be submitting essays using it and end up with terrible grades...

If anything people should learn 1337 (Leet) because that at least requires some creativity... But this MSN speak... Ugh...

i dont think soo..itss a short form....but if words like skool comes instead of scholl and all other short forms ((sms short forms))comes.lol shud certainly come..it si pretty well used by all
