I'm thinking of majoring in cultural anthropology, or something along those lines... something involving foreign cultures. Is there also such a thing as a career dealing the study of foreign music???

Try sociology.Or maybe work as an interpreter.But definately go for the cultural anthropology thing,too.It's a facinating subject.

I would tell you to work towards the foreign service. Try to get into the state department, or the UN. This would be a very exciting and rewarding job.
study foreign languages along with cultural anthropology. You might also consider the peace corps as a summer job or an internship.
