the points you get will build up and once you reached a certain number your able to ask and answer more question. Your points will bring up your level at level you can ask as many question and answer as many answers as you desire. you can go to the upper left hand corner of any screen on yahoo answers and click on the words My Q&A and take you to your profile page and once there on the left you will see where it will say tell me more about points and click on it that should explain what the points are all about and how many points before getting to the next level.
