It's normal. Beleive it or not...this white clump serves as a sort of "cork" for your placenta. The fact that it's coming apart means that your water is getting ready to break. There is no specific time in the day when it happens, but it's a signal that you're due anytime. It's totally normal...Good luck and Congratulations!

Have your doctor check for a yeast infection. If this is your first pregnancy you are naturally very scared and worried and may even be ashamed to ask. But do ask. Yeast infections produce a white almost cottage cheese like discharge. They can also be followed by itching and/or irritation in the vaginal area. It is nothing you did, it could have been something you ate or just your body being silly. I had yeast infections regularly with both of my children.

If the discharge is more of a slimy (almost the texture of snot) then it could just be the beginning of the mucus plug breaking down. If this is the case you will soon be surprised to find a large yellow-ey clump in your panties soon. Once the mucus plug is out it is almost baby time!!!

How exciting and congratualtions!!!

You say that the white big clumps of wetness has no blood.I was going to say it could be your mucus plug.I didn't have the blood come out but when that happpened i knew that within a day or 2 i was ready.I also was going to say an infection but when you said rubber i thought of mucus plug because i remember a thick white clump that you were speaking of.I've had 3 kids so I remember that.I think to be on the safe side you should check it out. It's almost time so maybe that's what it is.Good luck and congrats

It does sound like you are losing your mucus plug. That is the beginning of labor and you should let your practitioner know right away (I would consider calling the overnight number even - you will sleep better after you speak to someone). The plug is the barrier between baby and the outside world, so without it, he is less protected from bacteria or what have you.

You are on your way and nearly a mommy of a little Leo! Mazel Tov!

It sounds that you are losing the mucus plug. That is a normal stage in preparation for delivery. Probably you should inform your doctor about it, but don't rush to the hospital just yet, that doesn't mean you are in labor, it's only your body preparing itself for the big moment. good luck!!, have a great, fast and pain-free delivery!!

You are probably having very light contractractions, and your cervix is thinning out. You don't always have to have blood showing when this happens. You are dilating, normally the more you see, the more intense your contractions will get. Hope that helps. I have kids and I've experienced it before too.

Most likely your mucus plug. You are probably seeing your doc like every week now if not at least call the nurses line and ask just to ease your concern.

I am having the same thing and I went into my doctor and he said perfectly normal but he checked me and made sure things were ok so I would say DEFINETLY call your doctor and get in to see him so that he can check things out. GOOD LUCK, that baby will be meeting you face to face soon!!!

Sounds like you are slowly losing your "plug". That means your body is preparing to give birth. Good luck with your new little angel.
