there". I could only achieve adequate erection for small spurts of time. Is this abnormal? Is there anything I could do? I was 23. I'm kind of concerned because sometimes I have a hard time getting hard in general. Other times, like when I wake up there's not a problem, but the first time I recieved oral, which was years ago, my penis was soft. I blamed it on me having a severe cold. But, now I'm not so sure. I lost my virginity to a girl I was attracted to, but I still had problems the several times we had sex. Do I really need Viagra, or is this common?

The CORRECT answer is that this is not uncommon, but you should go see your doctor for a checkup, just to make sure you don't have a problem.

What minorly concerns me is that at 23, you should get hard when the wind blows. Seriously. Your testosterone production should be peaking right now.

It could be something simple. like anxiety perhaps, you may have a slight testosterone deficiency, or you could have something that for some reason is restricting proper blood flow to your genitalia.

Of course, when you are relatively inexperienced, the anxiety level tends to be higher, and that can definitely inhibit performance somewhat.

Having said all that, I think it likely isn't anything major, but I do suggest a visit to the doctor just to give you peace of mind.

Hope this helped.

Either you have too much stress on you and you need to loosen up and relax a bit. (It can be a mental and not a physical problem sometimes.)

Or this may be either a physical problem and you should consult a doctor.

Which one? I don't know.

no - you are fine

just performance anxiety - most men get this once in awhile

you need to relax and not focus on erections - maybe they will go but remember it will come back

learn to relax
