i have yahoo mail............i'm tired of checking my sidebar for mail..how do i get it back? i don't think it's the "windows messenger" i'm signed in..thanks

I was ahving trouble with by sidebar keeping my weather (it kept coming on to Paris, Hong Kong and 2 others I live in Cali.) it would come on then change so I did a live chat with them and they told me they have been having problems and that the engineers were working on the problems (also my computer was running very slow). They said most customers were having those problems. That was 2 days ago and now my sidebar works the way I want. So maybe they are still having some problems that are not fixed yet. Do a live chat and find out.

Try going to the Messenger Menu bar and then go to preferences. Go to the Alerts and Sounds catagory and make sure you have the enable alerts box checked. Then check that you have them enabled for when you recieve an e-mail.

I think if you open your yahoo mail and find an options button, it might be there. i was going to say i thought it was in messenger as well and maybe you disabled it.
