Yes...I feel that way too.....and it's because we don't. Only the lobbyists with enough money to line the politicians' pockets have a voice that can be heard.

I guess we could all donate some money - put it in a big pot - and take it to Washington along with our concerns. Maybe they would hear us then. We could always ask AIPAC for some pointers....since they seem to be so successful at getting the government to act on their wishes.

What, I can't hear you.

One voice out of 285 million is watered down a bit.

I'm afraid to get a stronger voice, you will have to get active in one of the two parties, local government or a socially significant job.

Really, the Constitution needs some serious amending. I don't think that's deconstructive. Get rid of lobbying Congress - Have a Senate that removes democratic votes and puts academia in charge.

I agree with you...I don't feel like anyone hears me. I don't agree with a majority of what is happening in this world, but I don't know what to do.

For me, I've started getting involved in organizations that I can help to change things. Other than that, just sit back and hope that everyone WAKES UP!

Well you do have a voice but that doesnt mean a whole lot sometimes. If you feel strongly about something make sure your elected politicians know about it - write to them, but that wont always work either

You tell me, WHY VOTE IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION? (electoral college, has overturned the popular vote, more than once).
