No drinking will not help you with a broken heart. Times does help though but you have to move on with your life. It is hard but to be able to move forward and not be in this rut you have no other option. Drinking will only make it worse. Plus tomorrow it will still be there.

Like those who answered this question, Time is the cure for heartbreak! Right now the wound is fresh and not yet mended, you can't stay in alone, with 'alcohol' and expect life to get better cause it won't! When my heart was broken I had to realize that life is way to short and that I had to get on, the one I was with just wasn't meant for me and that one day I will meet my true love! So instead I went out with my friends to get my mind off of it and live life the right way! But untill I find the right one I will just love and live life because i don't want to have any regrets in the long run that I will have to look back on, but then again if that person was your true love, they will come back like a boomerang cause love never passes you by, but it is up to you to see it and take the opportunity!So right now get out and have fun and you just my find love!!!

No cure except time..
alcohol...you get drunk and want to get laid (by your ex)
Pills....you get screwed up thinking your life sucks and become more depressed fixating on him
rebound sex...you really miss what you had unless the new guy is great then you don't care
Don't listen to country or slow ****...it seems to always relate
Don't date just yet...your gonna compare everyone to the Ex never giving them a real chance

there is no cure. alcohol is a mask. when you sober up the heartbreak is back worse than ever.
