I'm not a teen...I am 31....but I'd like to answer your question as well. I hope you don't mind. I took the test for my permit when I was 15. I passed with flying colors. I started taking my driving test at the age of 16. I didn't get it though untill I was 17 years old because I failed 4 times!!!! Finally on my fifth try I passed. It's not because I was/am a bad driver....I was just so darn scared!!! So hey...if it takes you a couple of tries to get it...no big deal. Don't give up and practice, practice, practice! I got my permit when I was 15 and I had to get all my hours in so I got my provisional license when I was 15 1/2 which means you can have one person in the car and my full license on my 16th birthday

Well I got my permit in June of 03 and had my license by March 04.
Where I live they have changed the laws yet again. You must have 12 months driving experisence. So my freind has told me.

Well it took me forever because I had to buy me own car before I actually got my license, so I was about 17 and 1/2. lol .. sucked.

i never drove til 16 got 40/50 hours driving and took test passed and got liscense without the 50 hours

I am almost 17 years old (September 1st) and I still have not gotten my liscense.I am terrified of driving.Im doing better though.Im trying so hard to get over my fear.My permit took me the second try to get it.

it took me two-3 weeks for my permit and 6-9 months for my actaual lliscence

I passed the written test first try, I passed the behind the wheel first try, also.

I got mine at 18 when i could afford my own car.
