Why is it that when guys get a nice, decent-looking, well minded woman they get stupid and ditch her and get themselves a skank or a trashy-looking whore, I am not saying all guys do this but there is a majority of guys who do this and some of it I know is insecurity and I know that these can't be this insecure so what is the problem? It bothers me a lot because I don't completely understand it, I see that girls do leave their men but it is because of either money, looks,or popularity and women know what their doing and its not because of insecurity its materialism! But why do guys do idiot things?

People don't get me wrong, I know that there are a lot of men who are respectful and understand, but it just isn't enough, I wish every man would come to their senses and i wish women would do the same too!

As a guy, I speak from experience. Most guys typically do this in their younger years and it is stupid behavior. However, guys being guys, we tend to look for riskier and in many cases, reckless girls. After all, these girls will typically let us do whatever we want. Not to say this is good and in no way am I condoning this behavior, but as a natural order to things, as men get older they get wiser and look for women to settle down with who are what you described - "nice, decent looking, well minded". Those are very good qualities obviously and as a man, I much prefer them over a trashy whore who may give you a few minutes of fun but not a lifetime of love.

Not all guys are idiots who enjoy skanks. There are some very upstanding ones, unfortunately most are 30ish or older. But I never did believe men (or women for that matter) should even consider settling down with one another until after 27, that's usually when maturity finally kicks in for some at least.
Don't give up though. Took me 35 years to find a guy who wouldn't run off with the first slut that walked by, so it can be done.

Because we tend to think with our small heads, rather than our big heads, but for some men, the brain material for both is the same, so it doesn't matter...
For most men, their vagina compass tends to guide them towards women that are hot and slutty, not realizing that those women will never make them happy in the long run. The ones that are smart and strong, scare us because we then think we won't be able to control them, and men need control...
Idiots do idiotic things... that's just how life is, why question it.

Because for some reason most of us women look for a man, we look for the one that's broken. Always attracted to the one that is unavailable for one reason or another. So let's make a world wide pact to not have sex with men at all for a year, and then maybe we'll be appriciated more. That and the skanks will have all died of one STD or another by then. Should work right? LMAFO

It is not just men! Look at the women that stay with insecure men and put up with verbal abuse and physical abuse. It works both ways. Some women just can't live with out a man in their life. Both sexes have the same head games going on with name calling and finger pointing.

Sorry but i am a guy, and for the guys that do do that i think that the guy feels that he has the decent woman in the bag, and he can ditch her thinking he can get her back if he pleases...guys are stubborn, i'll admit so when they realize that they made the dumb mistake of leaving a good woman they have too much pride to beg her back....some guys(not all!!!) are always looking for something better, even when the best they may ever get is right in front of them....sorry but it's true....don't get me confused for one of those guys either!!! I know something good when I see it!!!

Guys are afraid of commitments and quite honestly "skanks and trashy -looking whores" usually aren't looking for a commitment either. Ever notice that when a guy get ready to "settle down" he finds himself a "decent-looking, well minded woman". It comes with maturity and a willingness to face life's realities and committments to one woman. Poor guys, they are a couple of years behind us girls in maturity. They just have to catch up to us, that's all. So enjoy your wait in the meantime. Have fun and don't take guys too seriously.

The problem is that most women are attracted to men who are a challenge. The good, nice guys are boring to women and are considered less attractive. Most women want bad boys who they can commit to molding them into something that is more functional for a relationship.
Good guys are out there, you just have to consciously look for them.

cause we are stupid or in my case i felt she was to good for me.. and i always questioned how i got so lucky... to the point i pushed her away... us guys speak a diffferent lanquage then women and we dont always see or hear what we have till its to late... it cost me some one special so i speak from experiance.. now on the skank level it goes 2 ways before i met the one that i pushed away i had meet 2 women both who said i was too nice and wanted those type that were not genuine, polite, caring so it goes both ways.. they both said they were used to jerks and couldnt handle a good guy.... so as long as there are men and women there will be these stupid ways of thinking

Don't generalize that "most guys" are idiots. If it seems that way, then maybe you and/or your friends keep dating the same kind of guys over and over, expecting a different result. Try giving a different type of guy a chance, one you wouldn't normally date, and you may be surprised. What's the worst that could happen?
