Hi, Well I became friends with my neighbors,but we had a fall out because I told the mother about how her daughter was talking about hurting her self, and because the daughter wasjelouse that I had found a boyfriend. I still wanted to be there friends, they didn't. Well here is the problem, they have been yelling and harassing my family who recently began renting my home. Saying things about my oldest brother who has a slight disability, and talking about me when I am there. The latest thing is the Human feces (poop) that is being left in my yard, thrown at my house and left on the porch. We dont know if it is the mother, or the 15 year old girl doing it. So what should we do, my boyfriend a criminal justice major told us to call the police, so we called the police they said we had to have proof that it was them doing it. any help would be appriciated.

called the police again they told me to call my county attorney, so I called them, and they passed it to the county family attorneys office, where I was told that nothing could be done, until they acctually caused harm....I think the law is messed up in lincon co. ky

fayth 76 has the right idea. I had to deal with a similar matter. A neighbor was letting their dog poop in my yard every day when they walked the little four-legged-crap-factory. I got a cheap camera for $20, set it in my window and plugged it into my VCR. The footage you get doesn't need to win an oscar for cinematography, it just needs to catch the guilty party. So a cheap camera will do. An 8 hour tape in your VCR will make sure you don't have to sit and watch for them. Good luck.

Call the cops, report the harrassment, show them the feces. Keep calling everytime the neighbors do something. If you establish a history of harrassment with law enforcement, they'll eventually get caught doing it (they'll likely deny it to the police), and actually get into trouble for it.

I say hookup a camera or something or just like...pay really close attention if you hear noises outside your house! That sucks tho! Thats pretty low to poop and throw it at your neighbors house! I wonder how they do that! SICK!

Your best bet is to set up a security camera. They are reasonably priced at Wal Mart and will be able to give you the proof you need. That or you can sit up all night with a digital camera.

Do you really want to deal with someone who's MENTAL in such a way? Seriously? Just ignore them and they'll get bored.
Otherwise, stay behind your blinds and look out and watch them take a dump on your yard and take a photo of them doing it.
