I've been there many times, and I love it. I live fairly close now, but I used to live less than a half hour away. It's best to go early in the morning if you don't like really big crowds, and do plan to spend a lot of money :). It can make for a very fun day though. Everything you can imagine is right there for the buying. I hope you have a great time.

If you can avoid visiting on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday that would make the experience less stressful.

It will take a few hours to go through everything. Fortunately, there's 4 anchor stores and then four sides of the mall so it's hard to get lost--(north, south, east, west.)
I've heard "a mall, is a mall, is a mall" but I went to see a singing star there and when she came out onto the staging area (on the top floor) and when she looked out at the park in the middle of the mall and she was amazed. The park inside the mall is about 7 acres!
Tons of places to eat--from food court fast to sit down $$$

Yes, living in Minnesota I have been there. It's nice to go on a week day when it's less crowded, and taking a bus is a good thing to do because parking can be a hassle. I would be excited to go, because it can be a major shopping spree!

I went a couple of weeks ago. It is ginormous :) Seriously, it is so large, I was there for about three or four hours and only saw a fraction of it. I had heard there was a roller coaster, little did I know there was an actual amusement park. And a million restaurants and an aquarium. Oh and a great scrapbooking store :)

it is awesome...no matter how long you are there you will never see all the stores. you can be on the 4th floor and look down at the amusement park ...it is something to see a rollercoaster from above. there is also a lego land there....if you have kids...they would probably not move from there for hrs while you shop. Hope you enjoy your trip...

YES, but it's VERY VERY LARGE. Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes!
