It's not a disease, there is no cure. There is fooling yourself and living a life that other people want for you. Being Gay isn't the easiet route in life to take, I have lots of gay friends and I see how hard they have it at times. But they are all proud of their life and their decision to be open with everyone. I know it may be a hard thing to accept and for family and friends to accept. But there's nothing wrong with it, no matter what people say. It is a choice and a way of life. Do with it what you will and, but don't deny your true heart or you will only regret things later.

Being Gay is not a disease. It's a lifestyle choice made by you. Before you go into the lifestyle too far, you should really think long and hard about it. If you still have doubts, then pray. Ask God for guidance in your life, ask Him for direction and read the Bible, it contains more answers than I could ever give here. I hope this helps you in your walk in life.

I'm not gay, but I don't think it's a disease. I think it's something genetic, rather than learned and why would you want to "cure it?" Maybe being heterosexual is the disease because there's only a 40% success rate thus far in marriage rate...

If it is then I am happily "diseased." If there's a cure I want no parts of it. I love me, love my partner, love my life, love my children, love my dog. I have it all - love, happiness, great six figure career, and I travel the world for business and pleasure. My family loves and accepts me and I really don't give a sh*t what other people think. This is my life and life is way too short not to enjoy it.

It seems there are 2 types of gay people: those who choose to be gay, and those who are naturally gay. It's not a disease. It's a way of life. Don't tey to change yourself or anyone else. Live the way you are. You may relize later you were wrong. But it happens. Go with your heart.

what the hell? being gay is not a disease. it's who u r and u should not deny it. if u need help with this call one of those hotlines that help people dealing with their sexual orientation or go 2 PFLAG. There should be one in ur town or closeby. they're mostly all over the country nowadays. Good Luck!

Are you asking because you are gay? If so why would you want to change who you are. If you are asking so that you can understand why people are gay and you want to cure them what makes you so sure that they want to be cured. Either way people are people gay or straight and no one should be made to feel ashamed of who they are. So stand up and walk tall and be proud of who you are....... gay or straight.

No sweetie, its not a disease. It is however a state of mind that if you choose to follow your desire to love the same sex, love yourself first. Dont let society make you feel like you've caught a germ and need medication to rid yourself of the bug. In all you do Love you.

It is not a disease. It cannot be cured. Find a counselor or doctor to talk to.
