Okay under my messanger preferances it wont let me change my internet connection from dial-up to cable, what can I do to make it recognize that its cable????? Please any piece of information you can give me will surely help. Thanks

You may want to read some of the Q and A in this category. Yahoo Messenger has been down just about all day. Some people are just now able to connect again. It will take some time. Just be patient and don't change anything. Keep trying

Yikes! I'venever heard of that problem before. Have you tried uninstalling Yahoo messengerand then reinstalling it? Have you tried restarting your computer? I am not a technical person but when I have issues like that those are the first things I try. I always figured, can't hurt, might help.

I'm having the same problem. I was told by Comcast that the problem is with Yahoo, but no one can find a phone number for their service.

wont make any difference alot of yahoo is down anyway.
But you might have to unnstall and reinstall so it will know.
