There is a family feud, which began between brothers, which has been going on for several thousand years. It now involves the aggressive and stiff-necked descendants who have become the Israeli and the Arabic peoples.
And we, the non-involved citizens of the United States, have been put right in the middle of it. And by supporting in, a biased way, the Israeli side, the United States has incurred the bitter hatred of the Arabic peoples and is paying the price in dollars, in terrorist threats, and in lives lost and permanently disabled by terrorist activities,
The former Queen Noor and present King Abdullah of Jordan, Mubarek of Egypt, and Mushariff of Pakistan, all intelligent and articulate Arabic moderates, have repeatedly warned the United States that it is the United States' blatant bias towards Israel in their conflicts with Palestine, and what has happened to the Palestinian territory and the Palestinian people, that are the main reasons for the Arabic-Islamic hatred and the main reason they liberally fund terrorism against the United States.
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarek in April 2004 remarked that there is hatred against Americans like never before. He blames the hostility partly on the United States support for Israel. He said that the people (Islamic-Arabic) “have a feeling of injustice”. He said “they see Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is acting as he pleases, without the Americans saying anything”.
Between 1978 and 2000, the Pro Israel PAC gave 1732 United States’ Congressional Candidates $34,607,182. And in a related figure, since 1948 the US government has aided Israel in an amount between $82 billion and $94 billion depending on whose doing the figuring. (Research on the Internet can substantiate these figures.) By now, most assuredly, that figure is much higher.
Ariel Sharon, the former leader of the Israeli government, says he owns Congress and he may well be right.
The United States has made Israel into the most formidable and dominating military force in the region and White House and Congress have has looked the other way while Israel has and is systematically taking over Palestinian land, settlement by settlement in violation of international treaties, and has brutally subdued uprisings against this activity, needlessly destroying significant amounts of Palestinian infrastructure.
Not able to confront the Israeli or United States military prowess directly, the Arabic hatred found its outlet in terrorism.
Even before the Iraqi war, the United States Middle East Policies and Israeli bias had generated the Arabic-Islamic hatred which has funded and now, in 2006, still funds terrorism against the United States. The 911 attack was an example of the depths of that hatred.
And the alleged weapons of mass destruction which were to justify the Iraq war were no real threat to us but they were to Israel.
And the terrorism and threats of terrorism continue and the United States must pour billions upon billions in to “Homeland Security”.
The Israelis and the Arabic peoples have been fighting for thousands of years and will be fighting for thousands of years.
Just because there are more wealthy Jews in the United States than anywhere else in the world, it should not be possible for them to involve me and my family and our tax dollars in their ancient feud.
Neither, racially or ethnically or religiously oriented organizations should be allowed to form political action committees with which to bribe legislators to support their parochial interests.
And when members of Congress caucus around racial or ethnic or religious interests, you can be assured that they do not represent the interests pertaining to the well being of the nation as a whole but only those that are narrow and self serving.
