What?" If you're asking if they're real..ie do they exist; yes, they sure as hell do.
Cannabilistic cultures are still alive and well in some abscure parts of the world. That isn't all that horrifying as the reports of non-cannibals taking to humans as food in time of eat or die situations.
If your asking if they're realistic as in "John lives in a dream world. He's not very realisitc."....how in the world would I know??

If you are asking if there are really cannibals in the world, the answer is yes. There are cultures in indonesia and Venezuela that say its okay to eat human beings.

If you are asking if the cannibals typically have expectations that are in-line with reality then I cant answer that. If someone can, you should also ask them how they didnt get eaten.

If you are asking if modern portrayals of cannibals are realistic, if hollywood is realistic, then I would think not. Hollywood is nearly never realistic.. much like so called "reality" shows.

Cannibals are very real, especially on some of the South Pacific Islands. New Guinea has cannibals.

No, cannibals aren't realistic.
They believe in using a Cabernet sauce or mint sauce and then serve a European style Chablis. How realistic is that?

I don't know about all of them, but I would assume they are very much like grocery shoppers everywhere.
They are realistic about some things: whatever they fix for dinner won't satisfy everyone. And they are probably not realistic about other things: one pie will not feed 12 hungry teenagers.
