An old lady making a blunder about "chosen people".

Muslims never claimed to be the chosen people of Allah, you can be converted to one, as it is not a ethnic group.

Buddhists are NEVER the chosen people of their god as Buddhist like Jain are atheists. You can believe it as it is not a race.

Christians are never "chosen people" of their god.Everyone can become a Christian by belief. Also not a race.

Only Jews are the "chosen people" as spelt out in the Holey Babble. They are one race and can't not be converted into.

We are NOT "THE CHOSEN PEOPLE" of our faiths/ religions. Do you realise that Bible is originated from Judaism and all the patriarchs are JEWS.

That's why they are "Chosen People" if you choose to believe the Bible is truth than fables copied from others.

Yet the THE CHOSE PEOPLE never accept Jesus as the Messiah nor King of Jews and was punished to death for blasphemy.

You need a refresher course in religion 101.
The Jews are the chosen people of THEIR god.
Christians are the chosen people of THEIR god.
Muslims are the chosen people of THEIR god.
Buddhists are the chosen people of THEIR god.
Is a pattern emerging here?
If you think it's 'all a crock of lies' -- which isn't the most tolerant way in the world of expressing yourself -- then simply ignore it. No one will miss you. None of the gods will miss you, and you certainly won't be seen as anyone's chosen person. So you don't have to worry about it.
And that will be nice, because then you won't have to trash people who do hold beliefs about their religion.

I doubt you have inquired enough about the alleged facts to be a good prosecutor against the historical validity of the claims that you doubt.

The history of the Jewish people is ancient. And it is outlined in the bible. Pretty much Christians and Jews agree about the history, so you can learn alot about what these folks believe to be the history of the jews.

Once you read through the history you will see that we believe that the creator God interacted with this physical world is such a way to protect, punish, and preserve the Jewish nation. Several generations of Jews wandered throughout the region and ultimately ended up at the same place which is Hebron as home base.

Scripture says he picked the jews as his chosen people because they were nothing when he picked them out, and because Abraham, believed in God's eternal goodness, and made choices based on believing God was good, even though his immediate circumstances would lead him to conclude different. So then God made a promise to Abraham, and said I will make your heirs my chosen people.

The God of Abraham is a God that makes promises to people, that have been documented, and have been fulfilled by God.

God also says that no one has to be left out of this promise, and when Christ came to overcome the limits of humanity, we all are invited to be God's chosen people.

Well it really is totally irrelevant what you think, i put it to you that you actually don't "think" at all you certainly haven't had any education or you would not be putting this question on here with all your're grammatical errors!
The Jews are Gods chosen people. FACT!
As long as there are Jews the world cannot deny there is a God.
Why He chose the Jews is known only to God, we know that it is not because they are the greatest in number as that is what the Scriptures tell us. But you obviously don't or cant read so choose to live in ignorance.

God's mother Mary was a Jew. When the angel Gabriel overshadowed her with the Holy Ghost. We Gentiles are heirs of the truth because of Mary, his mother having him. He was a carpenters son in the natural rim but he was much more than a man in the Spiritual rim. He taught the truth and stood for what god gave him and he is still trying to teach us today what to stand for. So I am a chosen person because i have god inserted on my forehead, and was baptized with water and spirit and carries the name of Jesus. We are his hands and feet and we are also his mouth piece, so we need to do what god has put in us which is spread the gospel to the world, no matter what comes our way for his name sake because we will be over-comers.

I think it's perfectly reasonably that the Jews are the chosen people of their god. Remember, the bible tells the Jews to have no other gods before YHWH, not that no other gods exist or that other people can't be the chosen of other gods..

Not really a crock of lies...with all the trouble in the Middle East, God just has to watch them a bit closer than others.

The last Book of the Torah teaches that the Jews are God’s chosen people. “For you are a holy people unto the LORD your God: the LORD your God hath chosen you to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because you were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all people: But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers…” (Deuteronomy 7:6-8).

they were in the beginning, Abraham was faithful to god.Abraham was Jewish, so he said through his line the Jesus would come. so that's what happened. Although when Jesus was here the Jewish religious leaders rejected him, Had him killed. we all know the story.. well that's when God made a new path where all can be part of his chosen people, no matter what your race.

They might be chosen in 2 ways:
1) Christ was born among them.
2) There will be Jewish -> Christian conversions when Christ returns.

Right now, they are in between and confused.
