I'm on the pill and I take it like I'm suppossed to, but my boyfriend also comes in me. (I've been tested for STD's and he was a virgin before he met me) The other night when I peed, I passed a large amount of tissue (whitish looking) which had two pink circles in the center. It didn't really hurt, but after I was kind of sore down there and had cramps that were similiar to menstrual cramps, with a lower back ache. Could I have had a miscarriage? Should I be worried enough to go to a doctor? And if I do, what should I expect? I feel kind of stupid about going, I'm not sure why. : ( But I want to make sure I'm okay and maybe get off BCP because I don't think it's working for me. Anyone who's ever had something like this happen, please let me know what you think.

No, I haven't missed a period. If I had been pregnant, I would have been less than a month pregnant. I dont know if that helps or not.

I had the same thing happen to me when i was 16 and sexually active.I thought the same thing but did not go to the dr.I was okay but as an adult i probably should have because i had a miscarriage when i got married and it could effect fertility later in life.I think it was just excess lining from the uterus like you have with your period, like blood clots.

Have you missed a cycle?Did the pill make you miss cycles?I could be a yeast infection or maybe the pink circles of blood could be spotting.I was on BCP and got pregnant a month after i got off of it.I've had 2 miscarriages in my life and it was heavy bleeding but everyone is different. The second i knew the pain was unbearable.I think my advice to you is to see a doctor because with one of the miscarriages i wasn't sure if i was still" pregnant and they can do a test to see if you were.If you were pregnant you would have to have what is called a D&C procedure to take out what was there. It's dangerous to leave tissue inside of you whatever didn't expell.I'm on deprovera now and plan to stay on birth control and if you plan on having children make sure you let a lot of time pass after you stop taking the BFP.I didn't wait long enough and bled my whole pregnancy but he's 3 now.

I really doubt you had a miscarriage because I have had one and their is a lot of blood and the pain is unbearable.

It does sound like something is wrong so you should go see a doctor and also just to let you know you really should be more careful because BC is not 100% effective against pregnancy and getting pregnant on BC can cause multiples.

My friend is 3 months pregnant with twins and was on BC and never missed a pill.

I have had miscarriage already a few times and always started with cramps and lower back pain, bleeding and always there was a huge cramp and a tissue or something like miniature placenta(very soft and purple) came out. When it was out the pain ussualy subsided and had a bleeding for a week or so like heavier period. So mayby you have had a miscarriage even if you are on a pill so the wise thing would propably be to go to your doctor and have a exemination that everything is clear

I don't know what you passed, but it does not sound like a miscarriage. This is usually accompanied by heavy bleeding and severe cramping almost compararable to mild contractions (that is what they are though). If you did not have a lot of bleeding or don't soon you may want to see a doctor just in case. If it was a miscarriage and your body does not get rid of the pregnancy naturally, it can leave you at risk for infection. In this case the doctor would perform a D & C to remove remaining tissues.

You have to ask if you need to go to the doctor? Honey, yes you need to go to the doctor. You are not supposed to do something like that at any time of your life. It is not normal. Go and get checked, they will not think you are whining about anything. It is a sign of something not right and you should get it checked, if you want children in the future. It could mess you up if you are having an infection from any kind of thing. Just go as soon as possible. Any doctor will see you immediately if you tell them what happened. It is not right and you get some medical attention ASAP

you don't pass "tissue" when you have a spntaneous abortion....there is no tissue to pass. YOu need to go to the Dr and get an exam. You prob have an STD. Also decide that when you get pregnant you will be stuck with this guy. If you aren't interested in marriage now, then do you want to risk the rest of your life by having an unwanted child???

I've never had anything like that happen, but I do think you should go to the doctor. It sounds like you may have had a miscarriage. He will probably just examine you and possibly do a D & C if there is any tissue left inside of you. Good luck.

that lower back pain at the time you passed it, is a very significant sign of a miscarriage. It hurts. You do need to go to the doctor. You can get blood poisoning if everything isn't right. If you get fever, go ASAP.
