Sorry, but I dislike LaKendra. The thing that I dislike most about this name is the "La" in it. It makes the name seem a bit 'overdone'. I do however think that Kendra is a beautiful name. Another suggestion that I have, to add a bit of spice to the name is Kendria. I do think that you will have problems with nickname potentials with any variation of this name. It seems like the only thing that it can be shortened to is "Ken", which seems very masculine, and also reminds me of Barbie's boyfriend!

Chere'l is a beautiful name, and quite unique. The only fault that I can see in it is that many people may have problems with pronouncing this name. Perhaps you could spell it a different way to help people understand how to say the name? If not, it won't be much of a hassle anyways, seeing as it will only be her middle name, which is rarely used, unless on offical documents.

I hope I could help you!

I think it is way too fancy and pretentious. It isn't a classic name so i don't really like it. Sorry. If you like it, use it. I heard that before you name a child you should scream that name out your back door 5 or 10 times. If you still like it, it may be the one. LOL

it sounds so made up. Why don't you spell it how its pronounced? all you end up doing, and the child herself, is repeating yourself on how to say the name and spell it. And what's up with always putting the LA in front of a name....when you end up dropping it anyways as they get older?

LaKendra is cute so is Chare'l
Also try dropping the La in Kendra and see how that sounds but other than that it is different and it is a good tongue roller off!!!!!!!

It is cute

Honestly, I don't like names that start with La or Ma....anything that has two capital letter in it just doesn't appeal to me. But, it is your child and you should name her whatever you want and don't listen to anyone else. To each his own....you made her so name her what will make you happy. You only get to pick once so make it good.

"sha-relle" is a really pretty name...but i think your spelling will result in many mispronunciations.

I like it I think its pretty but I think LaKendra Sharelle or Cherelle would be better, then people would have a better understanding of how to pronounce it.
