I assume you are talking about excessive body odor...as related to excessive perspiration. If your doctor can't help you, please see a dermatologist. There are prescription anti-perspirants that are very successful such as aluminum tetrachloride (Xerac).

There is also a treatment aluminum chloride hexahydrate (Drysol). You receive two or three treatments a week for a few weeks and then only need once a week after that.

Another new treatment uses electric current to block the action of the sweat glands. It is used daily for a week and then your sweating will be relieved for a month.

I think the doctor is the best bet. I have heard that some nerve conditions have that effect. I use a salt crystal deodorant that I didn't believe would work but it does beautifully. Antiperspirants clog the pours and even leave marks under the the arms.I shave use salt Crystal and then gold bond powder to stay dry.

I'm sure your doctor will help.

good luck

the best is to leave it up to the doc. Sweating too much may result to something SERIOUS. Drink more water and avoid heat.you're going through puberty so your body is just changing. it doesnt mean that this will always happen to you. if you stop being nervous about sweating, you wont sweat. Before going to the doc, try to relax and not think about it. i heard u can use lemon or lime juice (naturaly squeazed) and salt on your armpits to heal B.O.
oh and P.S., there's a medical treatment for sweating for the hands and armpits. ask your doc if it's ok for teens

What kind of foods are you eating? It is VERY true that certain types of foods will make you smell from your pores and other areas of your body.

If you've done everything else, check your diet. You may find a lot of onion/garlic/curry...

And yes, you could have some sort of bacterial infection inside... so it's good that you're visiting the doc.

Good luck

You are doing the right thing by going to the DR. You could have a medical condition that is causing that. You sound like you have tried all the over the counter stuff.
Good Luck

Maybe you should buy a deoderant you like and stick to it for a while... Watch what you eat, and use a nice, lightly scented body spray. They have some that are especially for women. You could probably find it at your local drug store, Target or Wally-world.

I think its Summer's Eve.

Good luck with that girly! ;o)

You're overdoing it. Use either an Unscented or Cucumber smelling antiperspirant. Use a subtle body splash. Good luck!

Try changing the smell of your clothes and your room. My sister smells different from the rest of the family...she smells like this perfume she always puts on and that smell is like "her" smell now. When you step in her room, washroom, closet, it smells like that scent, so spray a type of perfume that you will want to get used to in your closet, bed, yourself.

To be honest a lot of things can cause odor, like stress.. or even the foods you eat. Maybe you need to readjust your stress livel and eat more of the right foods.
