Should I get a Gibson SG or an Epiphone G-400 for a rock/punk/grunge band?

I want a guitar with style and sound but i can't decide.

i have a g-400 andd its great in my punk band, get that. its cheaper too

Either the Gibson SG or a Fender Tele

The tone on those is too thick for a punk band. If you're going for a punk sound, get a cheap Strat.

For the other aspects... hmm... I'd get an IbÃ¡Ã±ez.
