I have heard and read about that it is know that the internet was not created to handle as much data and information as it is today...and that if the internet continues to grow as it does with more people logging on to it each day eventually it will crash...I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this and if so where did you hear or read it....

But at the same time as the number of people who log on each day increase, the number of servers online and their strength also slowly increases. Companies that have a lot of users realize that they need more bandwidth, more strength, so to speak, so they buy more powerful computers to handle the increased use, and more of them.
The internet's not a stable, stationary thing (reminds me of the "download the internet here" joke); it grows and changes to deal with new demands.

my friend there is no way that internet will crash it's too big
and all the big dogs are behind it .
internet feeds on computers ,computer get better and better everyday. it will no happen, becuse three main reasons.
1- it a web a web has links to other webs there for if one breaks you still have another string attached

2- data is stored on computers on the internet ,internet is not a made to store date, just transfer it.

3- the only thing that can make shut down internet .for a moment is a virus.
by the way did u read that somewhere or just heard it.
