All my yahoo coversations are stored in the Yahoo IM archives but I can't access it because of it being down and all. I went to the C Drive and found the list, but it displays them as DAT Files. What do I do ???

They are data files. Try opening with notepad. Be sure to uncheck the box "always open with this" so you can try other programs to open it.
