i know that some do but i havent met too many that do, i like final fantasy and ive only met a hand full of females that like them too, how come?

90% of all games are based on themes which appeal to males. Eg. Fighting, Shooting, War, Sports. This is why there are more guys playing games.
Games such as The Sims and Final Fantasy put more emphasis in story and character building, therefore attract more girls.
If there were more games similar to The Sims, i'm sure there would be more females playing video games.

The general sterotype is girls don't like violent video games or those where all you do is kill things (which are kinda one in the same I guess). They tend to enjoy games with a storyline; ones that have some romance and such.
But there are many exceptions; my best friend loves Halo 2.
And... it might help if there were some FEMALE main characters...

The only game i play is the sims 2 on pc. I'm not really into the futureistic blood and gore stuff. I think there is a gamer site that's all girls it's really cool. Unfortantely i don't know the link you probably have to a search engine and type it in.

It's a fact, the female of the humankinds just hasn't found anything they like in computer games. If you can figure out something that sells, you'd be rich.

I love games. My favorite games are GTA: San Andreas, God of War, Resident Evil 4, any Mortal Kombat. I love a good beat 'em up game. I can't wait for God of War 2.

I like final fantasy LIKE I will die for it

maybe because final fantasy is hard to find like their movies only few of them in dvd you should download it and most of child specially girls are not allowed to download things
but if ur talking about ps2 i know lots of people who go lots and lots of stores just to find a cd of finalfantasy
